Tsilent Tsunami A new missions outreach plans to recruit one million volunteers to spread the gospel in seven major European cities. "Tsilent Tsunami" is an outreach by International Mission Board workers in western Europe that focuses on flooding European cities like Amsterdam with prayer. The Netherlands seems locked in spiritual darkness, with new laws promoting same-sex unions, physician-assisted suicide, legalized prostitution, and open distribution of marijuana. Baptist Press quotes Robert Beckman, a Christian worker in the Netherlands, who says he is asking fellow believers to pray for the Dutch and reach out in love. According to Beckman, "As goes Amsterdam, so goes Europe and the world." Beckman and other Christian workers are praying that Europe will be revolutionized as the people find new life in Jesus Christ.
